How to play

Your goal is to give the answer most people give. There is no right or wrong answer — only how common your answer is in this sample.

One round, step by step

  1. Read the question. You see one question at a time, for example “Name a fast food chain.”
  2. Type one answer. Short is best. Up to 60 characters; links are not accepted.
  3. Submit your guess. Press the arrow or Enter to lock it. A known spelling is recorded immediately.
  4. Choose a spelling only if asked. Similar wording may get up to two suggestions. Choose one or keep your wording. Once submitted, an answer cannot be changed.
  5. Read the result, then continue. You see your group, its share, the top groups and what this question adds to your score. After question 5 you get your summary.

A worked round Demo

Question: “Name a fast food chain.” You type Wendy’s. It is recorded as Wendy's. With 400 valid answers, the result looks like this:

  1. #1McDonald's38.0% · 152
  2. #2Wendy'sYou21.0% · 84
  3. #3Burger King17.5% · 70

This question's sync

84 ÷ 152 × 100 = 55.3 — no star, because your group is not the top group.

Each answer counts once. Reloading, losing the connection or opening a second tab will show the answer you already confirmed, not a new vote.

Basic questions

Does the top answer need more than 50%?

No. It only needs the largest share. Many questions are won with 20–40%.

Is there a correct answer?

No. These are opinion and association questions. The result shows how common each answer is in this sample, not whether it is true.

My spelling was different — will it still count with the others?

Case, spacing and apostrophe shape never matter. Other differences only merge if you pick a suggestion or a maintainer confirms the spelling for that question. Grouping rules

Why is my score “provisional”?

Other players keep answering until the day closes, which can move every share. The score becomes final when the day is settled.

Can I replay a past day for my streak?

No. Replays are practice and never fill a missed day.

Quick help

  1. Type the answer you think most people gave. It does not need to be over 50% — just the most common.
  2. Submit it. Press the arrow once. If we offer a spelling suggestion, choose it or keep your own wording.
  3. See the distribution. A star means your group is the top group (ties count). Sync shows how close you were.
